NEWS: Bright ideas at the Royal Society of MedicinePublication date: 7 Jul 2010At the start of the year, Diamedica was in the spotlight at the Royal Society of Medicine in London. Managing Director, Robert Neighbour and consultant anaesthetist Roger Eltringham gave a presentation in February on the Diamedica Portable Anaesthesia System (DPA 01). The DPA 01 is a compact, robust and lightweight anaesthesia kit that can easily be carried as hand luggage, and has been designed for use by outreach workers in remote locations, disaster and conflict zones. The presentation, which was very well received, formed part of the RSM's Medical Innovations Programme which aims to keep members informed on the latest developments in medicine and healthcare.
