In 2017 we achieved accreditation for these products to the European Medical Directive 93/42/EEC allowing us to place the CE mark on these products. This represents that our products meet EU safety, health and performance requirements for medical devices.
Diamedica are delighted to announce that our products have now achieved approval against the UK Medical Devices Regulation and now carry both the CE and UKCA markings as they are fully compliant with both EU directives and UK regulations. These internationally recognised markings, showcase our products safety and reliability and our unrelenting focus on the continuous improvement of our products.
Diamedicas next focus is the achievement of the new European Medical Device Regulation. We are continually striving to achieve complete patient safety.
