Diamedica’s Jon Meek and our French speaking technical associate, Bernard Le Polain conducted a 2-day training course in Burundi for Arsten Zonder Vakantie. The training was well received by 11 technicians at Muramvya Hospital.
Covering the set-up and use of the Glostavent® Helix Anaesthesia Machine, the training focused on the principles of draw over anaesthesia, practical user training and technical and maintenance training on all parts of the machine.
During this trip we also took the opportunity to collaborate with the Gould Family Foundation via DAK to deliver a 1-day training course at Chuk Hospital. This full-day course, focused on the Glostavent® Helix Anaesthesia Machine, and was spilt into two sessions for users, technicians, and anesthetists. Training is a fundamental part of the service Diamedica UK Ltd provides and by sharing ourengineers expertise on the set up and use of the Glostavent Helix Anaesthesia machine, we can ensure the sustainability and longevity of this key equipment.
