Diamedica (UK) Ltd is proud to have supplied a Glostavent® Helix Anaesthesia Machine to Masanga Hospital in Sierra Leone, supporting the hospital’s ongoing efforts to strengthen surgical and critical care services for the local community.
The project was organised and funded through the support of the Betsi-Sierra Leone Link, alongside Masanga UK, whose partnerships with Masanga Hospital play a vital role in improving access to safe and sustainable healthcare in the region.
Designed specifically for low-resource environments, the Glostavent® Helix anaesthesia machine will help clinical teams at Masanga Hospital deliver safe Anaesthesia during surgery and improve patient care across a wide range of procedures.
Following the arrival of the equipment, Masanga Hospital shared the following message of thanks: “On behalf of the Management, staff, and the people of Sierra Leone, I sincerely express our gratitude and appreciation for the generous donation from Masanga UK’s donor to facilitate the supply of the Glostavent Helix Anaesthesia Machine. Words alone cannot fully capture how thankful we are”.
Mohamed Sama, Hospital Secretary also added; “We believe that across the country, only a few hospitals are privileged to have such advanced equipment, and we are proud to be among them, thanks to your support”
